In its most simple form, the word Asana (“AH-sun-uh”) is the Sanskrit word for “pose” or the postures performed in the practice of yoga. But more broadly defined, Asana is a process that leads to steadiness of body and mind providing a sense of well being. So now you see … your activity, whatever it may be, is your Asana.
Asana Activewear seeks to nurture and support the active community in Charlotte by: i) celebrating our heroes (the local instructors, trainers and teachers that inspire all of us), ii) sponsoring local events and activities that educate and inform and iii) giving back to organizations that help make this a great city in which to live. Asana Activewear is locally owned and operated. Its creation was sparked by the passion for an active life.
